Our December meeting was full of fun. We started with a spectaular diplay of quilts and quilted items that members have made to brighten their homes over the Christmas Season. Lunch was our traditional guild potluck, with just the most delicious foods shared with each other. Shirley, Cheryl and Ellen led us in some carol singing. There was gifts to be shared and games to be played. Just a wonderful way to enjoy the season together.
Welcome to Chilliwack Quilters' Guild
If you love quilts and quilt-making (all ages & experience levels), Chilliwack Quilters' Guild invites you to join us as a guest for your first meeting. There are currently 70+ members in the Guild, new members are always welcome; dues are $30.00 per year. Guild meetings are from10 am to 2pm, doors open at 9:30am. The meetings usually consist of a 60 minute presentation, members show and tell, time to socialize and a brief business meeting. The Guild's major fundraiser is the biannual Quilt Show which includes a quilt raffle and a display of the quilting projects of talented guild members. The raffle quilt is generally constructed by Guild members. A portion of the funds raised are used to purchase supplies to make 'We Care' Quilts which are made each year and donated to various charities in the Chilliwack area.
We accept donations of good quality cotton fabrics for our We Care Quilts. To arrange pick up please send an email to presidentchilliwackquilters@gmail.com
